Liberia is a city located in the province of Guanacaste, in northwestern Costa Rica. It's often referred to as "La Ciudad Blanca" (The White City) due to its whitewashed colonial architecture. It serves as a major hub for tourism in the Guanacaste region, providing access to numerous beaches and national parks.
